The scheme is not limited to transport. It provides discounts in culture, tourism, sports, dining, local commerce, health, and wellness.
The scale of the deployment deserves to be highlighted. The region already counts more than 260,000 beneficiaries and over 2,600 registered partners. The potentially eligible population reaches about 2 million people in the region.
Extension of benefits in September 2026
Since September 2026, the Pass’Région Seniors includes an additional financial aid of 15 euros intended to finance membership in a sports, cultural, or leisure association. This fund aims to encourage social connections among isolated seniors, an aspect rarely covered by traditional discount cards.
Registration can be done online or at the town hall. No proof of income is required: only age and place of residence matter.
SNCF Senior Advantage Card: rail discounts at 49 euros per year
The SNCF Senior Advantage Card is not free, but it remains the most widely used national scheme for train travel after the age of 60. Its annual price is 49 euros. It offers several tangible benefits:
